Mozilla Launches Firefox On Mobile Devices

With the rise in use in the Internet on mobile devices many web browsers including Mozilla Firefox have and currently continue to develop web browsers with proper HTML-5 support for displaying standard web pages that are available on the Internet. There are also other mobile browsers including a mobile version of Chromium and Safari that are also in use. Each mobile browser has their own features; however, Mozilla is and continues to be a non-profit organization which offers the Firefox browser free of charge.

In fact, many cellular phone manufacturers of smartphones already ship with the Firefox web browser as a default web browser. The mobile version of Mozilla will run differently than a standard web browser. When a user inputs a search term into the Mozilla web browser, they will be presented with a grid of apps that launch as temporary apps and close once the user is done with the search. The browsing app-grid is powered by Everything.Me and converts a URL HTML-5 web page and displays it as an app rather than a standard HTML web page viewing experience that is made available by the Google Chromium mobile browser.
The first thing that people will notice about the mobile Mozilla web browser is the fact that it has been redesigned to fit on a mobile screen flawlessly. The new mobile interface allows users to open tabs, switch between them or close them all with a single swipe or touch. The user can easily view web pages and people may pinch their fingers together or move them apart to either zoom in or out on a webpage.

Meanwhile the Firefox sync option connects all the information from a PC automatically with the user’s mobile device so they can immediately pick up where they have left off. Bookmarks, history and recently browsed items are all integrated into Mozilla mobile and synced from other user computers.

Firefox is also programmed to rid pop-ups and also ensures a secure connection. The mobile Mozilla browser theme can also be changed with a theme of the user’s choice. Lastly, the Mozilla web page browser is much quicker with searching, accessing a variety of web page types and zooming out or zooming in. Firefox mobile supports HTML-5, JavaScript, Flash and many other plugins are also compatible.
