‘The Mac’ Even has a Jailbroken iPhone [Video]

The title may seem confusing, but it’s because it’s all so confusing. The actor on those infamous “Hi, I’m A Mac” commercials is the proud owner of a JAILBROKEN iPhone – I know “HOW COULD HE DO THIS TO US, BETTER YET TO APPLE!?”.

Though it’s not that serious, I wonder what Mr. Jobs is over there thinking. I mean it’s legal, just not that great of a thing to do. A lot of people complain about the performance of their jailbroken phones, which is all besides the point. Check out the vid with the actor, Justin Long, admitting to Jimmy Fallon his love for his jailbroken iPhone. Continue reading →

‘See…We Aren’t The Only Ones’ – Apple’s Antenna Page

Ok, I don’t know if this is the best way to go as Apple usually keeps it classy with everything else they do, but I found this page and the excuse Apple’s Steve Job gave a little questionable.

I understand every phone has it’s issue and maybe even the same issue, but such little complaints about the antenna issue on the iPhone 4 (with a noted 1/2 of 1% – YA THAT LOW) , I think leaving it at ‘You all get a free bumper for your trouble was enough’. Continue reading →

Want to Test Out FaceTime on your iPhone 4? Call Apple!

Apple’s newest tech loveliness a.k.a. the iPhone 4 can’t stop getting better. I think Apple read everyone’s thoughts (or comments on blogs) and put something together to test out that fabulous new feature, FaceTime.

What’s so great about is that you can literally call Apple, chat with an Apple employee, and test out your FaceTime chat feature all at once, it’s super! So go ahead guys, call 1-888-FACETIME and ask the Apple employees some questions, I’m sure they are all excited about this one, lol! I’m making my call in just a few minutes to quiz, bother speak to an Apple rep.

Steve Speaks at D8 Conference

To all of those who love to know Mr. Job’s opinion on everything tech, this one is for you. This goes beyond the simple yes or no answers he usually provides in his email replies to those inquiring about things like Flash or the Mac’s place in the marketplace in the future. This is a sit down interview at the D8 Conference and he discusses in his totally expected black shirt, blue jean attire everything from Flash (of course) to the iPad’s origin.

Good stuff, check it out after the jump..IN VIDEO!!! Those are always fun. And for those of you slacking hard at work or without access to video right now, I have provided a link to transcript (yes, when ‘He’ speaks there’s transcript, it’s just not in red writing YET, lol). Continue reading →

iPad Controls Blimp

The guys over at BreakfastNY.com have created a modified BlimpDuino which is controlled by the iPad’s accelerometer through a custom software which connects to a built in computer. The iPad thus becomes the real controller which also displays what the blimp sees via an attached front camera.

It’s awesome, check out the video after the break.

Thanks to MacStories for the post!
