How-To: Save Images on your iPhone

Have you ever found yourself browsing the Internet on your iPhone or iPod Touch just to discover the funniest photo ever and not know how to save it besides emailing someone that page’s website link? Well wonderful…because I have THE how-to for you.

Saving images on your iPhone or iPod Touch is a snap and I will teach you step by step on how to do so, let’s get started…

To save an image on your iPhone or iPod Touch:

  1. Open your “Safari” Internet browser from your iPhone or iPod Touch home screen.
  2. Browse to the website of the image you want to save.
  3. Press and hold the image you want to save to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
  4. Save iPhone Images - TheiPhoneWebsite.comWhen the image is held, you will be asked if you would like to save the image, if yes,  tap on “Save Image“.
  5. After you tap “Save Image” the image is now saved to your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Wonderful, you now know how to save images to your iPhone or iPod Touch, but now what to do with those images?

With the image now saved to your device you can now email the image(s) to friends, MMS the image, assign the image to one of your contacts, or use the image as a wallpaper on your iPhone or iPod Touch, it’s up to you.

Now wasn’t that a snap (did you catch the photo reference there, lol) . Just browse the Internet with Safari and save all the images your iPhone or iPod Touch can hold!
