
Those trendy white earbuds that you have only used for listening to your music, do more than you might realize. The iPhone’s headphones have a small button on the microphone and it performs multiple functions. Some of the things you would fumble to do while taking your daily run, enjoying your music on a long flight, or just trying to ignore an annoying friend, might become easier with a few iPhone headphone tips. So let’s get it going!
While you are in a phone call:
- Press the button on your headphone once to answer a call.
- Press the button on your headphone twice to send the call to voicemail.
- Press the button on your headphone once to hang up a call.
When you are on a call while and a second call comes in:
- Press the button once to hold current call and switch to new call.
- Hold the button for 2 seconds and release to ignore new call.
iPod Functions:
- Press the button once to to start the iPod and begin playing a song.
- Press the button again to pause the track
- Double-tap the button to skip to the next song.
